What do I need to create nuggets?

• Be at your best. Have at least 2 changes of clothes. Since this is a tight shot it will only be necessary to have a different top.
  

• You can be at least in 2 different locations. Different outfits and locations will keep your audience from getting visually bored.

• On your phone or notepad have at least 4 negotiator nuggets and 2 spotlight stories.

• Spotlight Stories are your winning or heroic moments. Share your unforgettable moments or unbelievable experience, for example, you made 5 sales in a day or a week.

• Try to keep them between 30 and 90 seconds. (It’s longer than you think)

• Have the video person set up on a tripod and “frame you” as in this video at 3:54 of this video.

• The shot should be centered and tight. (Blurring the background slightly helps you “pop” off the screen)

• Ok, again relaxation and authenticity are the keys. Just be amazing that is you.  :)

  1. Look at the camera (slightly above not down the barrel of the lens) and ask the video person to give you a focal point).

  2. Big smile… hold for 3 seconds then deliver your first piece. When finished, smile and continue to look straight for 3 seconds.  Then Cut.

  3. Look down and prepare for your next segment.

  4. Repeat
